The GARMCO operation started production in 1985 with an initial 20,000 tonnes
of production and in 2004 had increased production to 145,000 tonnes while in
2005 the production of rolled product will be around 150,000 tonnes. At the
Foil Mill there has been growth from 10,000 capacity in 2001 to 22,000 tonnes
capacity in 2005.

These impressive growth rates at both GARMCO and the GARMCO Foil
Mill have been achieved with minimal environmental impact. Work is continually
ongoing at GARMCO to phase out any processes which may be harmful to the
environment. Environmental awareness is also an intrinsic part of the GARMCO
production process for rolling sheet and foil products.

At GARMCO as well as the Foil Mill quality underpins all work
related activities. The commitment is to supply the customer with the best

class manufacturing principles and continuous quality improvement are a key
part of international standards that apply to aluminium rolled products
inclusive of foil

Technical service can be provided to support and advice customers
on product development, in-house manufacturing support using the aluminium
rolled products supplied by GARMCO as well as investigation and corrective
action of any quality related issues that may arise.
