The GARMCO FOIL MILL CO.W.L.L. commenced operation in 2000 in
response to the high demand that exists within the Middle East and elsewhere
for aluminium foil. The GARMCO Foil Mill, which is a subsidiary of GULF
|
ALUMINIUM ROLLING MILL CO. B.S.C.(c),
GARMCO, is a leading supplier of foil for finstock used in air
conditioning applications, semi rigid foil containers, lidding foil which is
printed and has a heat seal applied as well as household foil use.

Both GARMCO established in 1981, following a decree issued by the Amir, Shaikh
Isa Bin Sulman Al-Khalifa and the adjacent GARMCO Foil Mill operation are
located in the Kingdom of Bahrain which is a group of islands off the eastern
seaboard of Saudi Arabia. An independent state since 1971, Bahrain supports a
thriving and stable economic environment with a population of around three
quarter of a million people. Bahrain can boast excellent communications a
highly educated workforce which makes it the ideal location for a whole range
of industries.

This Middle East location means that GARMCO and the GARMCO Foil Mill are
ideally situated central to its markets both east and west. GARMCO is also
close to the large aluminium smelter Aluminium Bahrain, ALBA, which produces |

| cast aluminium ingot including rolling ingot (slab). With the
addition of new smelting capacity the ALBA smelter is now the third largest in
the world and has a capacity of 830,000 tonnes of case ingot per annum. GARMCO
benefits from this secure and readily available source of high quality ingot
for rolling into sheet and foil products. |
